Eating Disorder Dieticians

Elle BSc (Hons), MSc, R.D., N.S.

Elle is a specialist dietitian with a deep passion for supporting young people and adults in their recovery from eating disorders and disordered eating. Nutrition is a highly individual and personal topic for everyone and I provide a compassionate, non-judgemental and realistic approach to helping clients to heal their relationship with food and live a life without restriction. Disordered eating is becoming almost normalised in today’s society and nutrition misconceptions and faddy advice circulates us everywhere we look so it is really important to me that I educate my clients on the basics of nutrition to help them navigate through the myths and find a dietary approach that works for them. I encompass an every food fits approach, encouraging clients to remove good and bad food labels and stop demonising foods and food groups.

Growing up in the countryside of Ireland, I have a love for exploring the outdoors and all sports. I also have a masters in applied sports nutrition and can help both recreational and elite level clients enhance their performance through nutritional education. Elle will be hosting talks in schools on Sports nutrition next year and is available for provide consultations.

Pauline den Hoedt - MSc ATPC

Pauline is a Licensed Thrive Programme coach. The Thrive Programme® is a totally fresh approach to achieving lasting happiness, health and overcoming anxiety, depression, phobias and other mental health challenges.

The course takes 8 weeks to complete and it teaches parents and their teenagers how to calmly manage their thoughts, feelings and emotions while going through the roller-coaster teenage years.

At the end of the course your child will have much higher self-esteem & social confidence combined with a love for life. There are weekly interactive and uplifting coaching sessions with homework in the form of videos and a syllabus. It is a team effort where both the child and the parent do the work. I am very passionate about my job and it's a privilege to see families put in the effort and positively change. I have three children aged 20, 18 and 15 so I have had plenty of time to practice my own thriving skills and I am still grateful that I found the Thrive Programme as my family and I are all much better equipped to navigate through the challenges life throws at us.
